John M. Liming, Esq. received his BA in Physics from Grinnell College and his JD from The University of Michigan Law School. His practice areas include foreclosure litigation, real estate law, insurance defense law, personal injury, and wrongful death. Mr. Liming is also a licensed title agent and works with his firm’s title agency, Attorneys’ Title Agency of Northwest Ohio, Inc., which is a member of the American Land Title Association. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Board of Governors, Real Property Section [now Real Property Law Section Council], 1985-Present; Past-Chairman, Title Standards Subcommittee) and was the recipient of the OSBA’s 2019 Robert L. Hausser Award from the Real Property Law Section. Mr. Liming is also a member of the Ohio Land Title Association and has been a frequent presenter at various continuing education seminars regarding real estate title standards in Ohio.
Mr. Liming carries an A(V) rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has extensive experience representing a regional lender in foreclosure litigation throughout its Ohio business footprint for over thirty (30) years. He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts throughout Ohio (including the Northern and Southern District Bankruptcy Courts), and is approved to conduct foreclosure litigation on behalf of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Aside from his real estate and foreclosure practice, he has also been first chair in over forty (40) jury trials and is a Certified Mediator.
